The Captain Bangs Hallet House, circa 1840, is located on Old Kings Highway in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts. It is the former home of Sea Captain Bangs Hallet and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Seaport Shutter was hired by the Historic Society of Yarmouth Port to manufacture custom exterior shutters and mahogany screen doors to help preserve the building and enhance the architectural history of the property.
The Captain Bangs Hallet House serves as a museum today and provides insight into 19th-century maritime life. The property is the only furnished Sea Captain’s home open to the public on Cape Cod.
