Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Seth Nye Law Office, circa 1825, is located in the quaint historic section of Sandwich.  The federal style law office is on the corner of Grove Street and Main Street overlooking the old Sandwich Town Hall. This building also served at some point in time as the town library.

Seth Freeman Nye, practiced law in this one story charming building. He was an important Sandwich figure both in law and business and is remembered as one of the richest men in Sandwich during the mid 1800’s.

Now a beautiful private residence, the homeowner hired the craftsmen at Seaport Shutter in 2013 to manufacture custom mahogany screen and storm doors for the double central entry on the front of the home, a mahogany house number sign and custom shutters to replicate the original look of the property.
